The good: The art is acceptable and the younger detective is a little fun at times with Irene.The bad: It's boring! It doesn't know the difference between pine and sakura trees, the character are cardboard, the object searches are mostly useless (but that's true with most games), and it's long and tediously dull!I say give it a pass.. I've played most of this game, and I still don't know what the ♥♥♥♥ it is.4/10- please explain game. Exceedingly poor graphics. Boring. yada yada yada save your few ££ and buy chocolate.. you'll enjoy that a hell of a lot more than this steaming pile of dog doo. This hidden object game has a Japanese theme, a murder mystery storyline and mini games. I enjoyed the story and theme and some of the objects were hidden in very clever ways. I enjoyed the mini games for a change of pace, but my least favorite one was the only one that repeated. There is also some repetition in the locations where you search for hidden objects and while I liked how this tied in with the story and I enjoyed looking for new items within the same scenes, I was less thrilled that some of the objects repeated. It took me around 3 hours to beat the game but I enjoyed it and think my $2 was well spent. I will be playing through again to try to unlock the last few achievements and see if the objects to search for are randomly generated (as I suspect they might be). Regardless, I don't think this game offers much replayability, but it is absolutely worth a few dollars even if you only play through it once or twice.EDIT: After playing through this two and a half times I can say that there is a little more replayability than I thought at first. Granted the story doesn't change, but the items do randomize, not only in terms of the items to search for but also in terms of the extra items that appear. On the plus side, some of the randomized items will be new to the scene, but on the minus, a specific item will always be in the same place.. Point and click to win.. If you like to :- find hidden things- solving puzzles- enjoy some pretty neat artworks- feel like a detective with sharp eyesthen, you might like playing this game.. Nice little game, not long, but with the objects being different every time, it is very enjoyable.. Good hidden object game for casual play. The art is very nice and the story is decent enough to hold your interest. The music is not too bad either. Best not to play in a single sitting (unless going for the achievement) because backtracking might feel redundant.
